Benarkah Han Chae Won Bunuh Diri Karena Tekanan Dunia Hiburan Korea? Dua bulan setelah peristiwa bunuh diri yang dilakukan oleh aktris Han Chae Won, media Korea terus menggali kebenaran dibalik peristiwa memilukan tersebut. Dan pada 10 Oktober kemarin, acara MBC ‘Entertainment Plus‘ mendedikasikan sebuah episode mengenai keadaan yang menyelimuti peristiwa tersebut.

Seperti diberitakan sebelumnya, dia meninggalkan pesan melalui mini-homepage, yang menyatakan, “Saya ingin menghentikan siksaan ini. Saya ingin berhenti menangis.” Setelah itu, dia gantung diri di apartemennya pada 25 Agustus lalu.


Polisi menyatakn bahwa dia menderita akibat tekanan dan depresi yang disebabkan oleh persaingan di industri hiburan Korea. Sebenarnya dia telah menerima perawatan sebelumnya akibat depresi itu, dan selama perawatan, dia menyatakan beberapa orang yang mengaku sebagai manajer beberapa perusahaan hiburan menuntutnya dengan ribuan dollar selama beberapa kali. Salah satunya bahkan diungkapkan akan mengorbitkannya jika aktris itu bersedia memberinya $80.000 USD.

Keputus asaan Han Chae Won dalam usahanya agar terkenal juga diungkap melalui kenyataan bahwa dia merubah namanya sebanyak tiga kali dengan harapan mendapat keberuntungan dengan nama barunya.

Sayangnya, setelah semua usaha yang dia lakukan, dia merasa tidak cukup. Setelah mengatakan pada seorang temannya bahwa ‘tak ada yang bisa dipercaya lagi di dunia ini’, dia melakukan bunuh diri di apartemennya sendiri.

Americas Got Talent Winner

"America's Got Talent" came down to an eclectic mix of four acts Wednesday night to win $1 million and their own headlining Las Vegas act.

Was it singing jazz sensation Landau Eugene Murphy, Jr., who recently told PEOPLE he is "the one to beat?" Or glow-in-the-dark dancers Team iLuminate? Or consistent fan favorites, Silhouettes? Or underdog music group Poplyfe?

Jazz singer Landau Eugene Murphy, Jr., who went from washing cars and living on the street to performing in front of millions, won the competition.

As the crowd screamed, the West Virginia native put his hands over his face and was rushed by members of the second-place act, the dance group Silhouettes.

With mind-blowing vocal talent, the newly minted millionaire -- who once struggled to support his family -- previously told PEOPLE he planned to take his earnings and "invest it in my kids' future."

He narrowly beat out Silhouettes, which had the show's youngest contestant to date. The group wowed judges all season long by posing behind a screen and making shapes with their bodies that matched famous photographs that were typically American-themed.

Team iLuminate: Praised throughout the season by judges for their originality, the glow-in-the-dark dance act's choreography skills combined with unique presentation has made them a fan favorite.

Poplyfe: Piers Morgan originally told the young, Oakland, Calif.-based band that all of its members except for front woman Kehlani Parrish were essentially useless. But after weeks of wowing all three judges with iconic songs by the Beatles and Jackson 5, Morgan took back his original critique.
